Anti Assault Campaigns

Differences in how men and women answer the question ‘What do you do on a daily basis to avoid rape, sexual assault or harassment?’

Project Unspoken was created as a summer intern project at Emory University’s Office of Health Promotion’s Respect Program (http://www.bewellexcel.org/respect). It was a reaction to the prominent silence surrounding the issues of rape, sexual assault, and relationship violence. Even though gender-based violence is widespread, it is often an issue surrounded by silence.

  1. The “We can stop it” campaign is designed to designed to educate and change attitudes towards rape and sexual assaults and is being led by the Association of Chief Police Officers in Scotland (ACPOS).
