Week 30 of 52 LSE – K.I.S.S.

Posted On: July 27, 2014

Welcome to Love, Sex, and Everything in Between! My name is Martha and I’m a sexologist and I’m playing your Fairy Godsister.

This week’s message is K.I.S.S. – Keep It Simple Silly. So today is Hari Raya Puasa. In Hari Raya Puasa what they do is they start a month of fasting until the end of the celebration. So I’m going to use this as a way to remind us that perhaps we need to be keeping things simple by perhaps dieting or maybe even joining in fasting where possible.

So there are three Rs that we could possibly apply in our own lives and that’s Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle – the three Rs. I have been a vegetarian for almost coming to five years now and I notice a big surge in my energy levels and perhaps this is a time to also be thinking about the addictions in your life that’s not supporting you anymore. By that I mean, maybe patterns of smoking, maybe being addicted to caffeine or sugar. All these things actually tax our body and actually we are not feeling even more exhausted at the end of the day. So this week’s reminder is to keep it simple. So do share with us your thoughts on Facebook on how we or how you have tried doing this and how it has brought for you.

And as an additional bonus, what I have this week is a little quiz called the Stress Quiz. Use this stress quiz as a way to see how stressed you are in your life and begin to explore what you can do to keep things simpler.
