What’s the Point?

Posted On: May 17, 2015

When I see people walking on the streets, I wonder…

How they end up doing whatever it is they do…

Whether it is what they for a living..

Who they are in relationship with…

The kind of food they eat…

The clothes they wear… or not…

The cars they drive… or not…

The children they have… the number of… or not

Or whatever else they spend their time, money and energy on….

road1.

Why do they do what they do?

How do they end up working in what they doing?

Then I ask myself:

What’s the point?

Those who can sing.

Others write.

Or they might speak it.

Surely there are also those who dance.

Perhaps some do all four things at the same time.

But what’s the point?

It all comes back to why we do what we do.

And I’ve deduced this answer:

We do what we do because we want to…

Whether it is…

To express

To be seen

To be heard

To inspire

To make a living

To make an difference

Or simply to be.

I believe we do what we do because we believe that there is a point in what it is we do.

There is a point.

I do what I do because I care.

I believe or continue to choose to believe that being a sexologist makes a difference.

From creating a space where people know my services exist and take comfort in that,

To actually rendering services or running positive sexuality events.

It may be in providing accurate information about sex and sexuality.

Or in coaching my clients through their sexual questions, issues, difficulties and challenges.

I stand for sex.

Not only that I also stand for relationships, marriage, love, healing, hope, choice and freedom.

I believe this is my point to the point of my life.

What’s the point to what you are doing in your life?

It is less about what the point of it all to you.

It is more about what it is to you.

So what is the point of what it is you do to you?

I am doing crowdfunding for my second book Orgasmic Yoga. Please support here!
