I am Averral, the creator behind the Scarlet Queen YouTube with over a million views and author of Red Hourglass, a thriller series on corporate espionage by female undercover agents. I am releasing a new book annually on Amazon. I would regard myself as an author of works.I run an e-commerce skin care business that I started while pursuing a diploma in business studies. I consulted my lecturers and mentors and applied what I learned and it grew. I graduated from Monash University with a degree in business (marketing/management) while managing my business which was a one-woman operation at that time. I had outsourced most of my business so I can focus on artistic pursuits in life.In school, I was cast lead actress and won dance competitions.
2. Why do you do what you do?
I decided to become an author since I was a child as I loved reading books and storytelling sessions. I wanted to create stories and universes. I stumbled on a photo of a woman in Japanese rope bondage on the internet when I was 14 years old and since then BDSM has been a recurring theme in all the content I create. Writing, watching theater shows and performing makes me feel most alive, hence I knew these are my deepest passions.
3. What are your future plans?
Publish one book a year, one video a week and hit a million book downloads by 2021.
4. Any advice for others?
No matter how deviant your outlook is, and no matter how much people don’t understand what you are doing, just keep doing it till it becomes a shared reality with others.
Travel and network actively to expand my horizons and universe of my creations. I have three trips coming up and I can’t wait to hop on to my next adventure.

About Dr. Martha Tara Lee
She also holds certificates in counselling, coaching and sex therapy, and her fourth degree – a Masters in Counselling in May 2018. In practice for more than nine years, she is the only certified sexuality educator and certified sexuality educator supervisor by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) in Singapore.
Often cited in the local media, Dr. Lee is the appointed sex expert for Men’s Health Singapore, and Men’s Health Malaysia. Martha works with individuals and couples in private coaching sessions, and conducts her own workshops. She takes prides in making sure all her workshops are also fun, educational, and sex-positive. This comes easily to her because even though she is extremely dedicated and serious about her work, she fundamentally believes that sex is meant to be fun, wonderful, amazing and sacred.
