This workshop is for professionals who work with or anticipate working with female clients who experience Vaginismus. Women who frequently experience vaginal discomfort during intercourse, such as pain and burning sensations, are probably suffering from the condition known as Vaginismus. Vaginismus is the result of involuntary tightening of the vaginal walls, making penetration during intercourse difficult or even impossible.

In this workshop we will:
• Explain what is Vaginismus, as well as confront common myths and misconceptions about it
• Outline common scenarios and questions
• Describe the intake process
• Do some role-playing
• Provide case studies and group discussion

When Clinical Sexologist Dr. Martha Tara Lee began her private practice in Singapore seven years ago, she never imagined she would become the nation’s leading expert in vaginismus. Having worked with more than 400 couples face-to-face, Martha is passionate about eradicating this debilitating condition by equipping as many helping professionals as possible. She developed the world’s first 28-day online training program called Sex Possible on overcoming vaginismus four years ago.

About the Facilitator

Dr Martha Tara Lee is Founder and Clinical Sexologist of Eros Coaching. She is a certified sexologist with ACS (American College of Sexologists), as well as a certified sexuality educator with AASECT (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists). Martha holds a Doctorate in Human Sexuality as well as Certificates in Sex Therapy, Practical Counselling and Life Coaching.
