Resources: Ethical & Feminist Porn

Posted On: June 9, 2021

This is a list of ethical and feminist porn sites you might like to check out.

Do note that downloading porn is illegal in Singapore – watching them online is not.

I do invite each and everyone of you to question where your porn comes from: If there is consent between all parties filmed? If they are paid fair wages? If they are being exploited?

Please don’t do anything that supports an industry that hurts others!

1. GASM.TV

This site offers live erotic streaming content. Viewers are anonymous and can ask questions and have them answered in real time. Or have concepts demonstrated.

The business model is also people, planet, and then profits. It trains its performer teachers. It is inclusive, and LGBTQQ+ friendly.

2. Bright Desire

This site offers a new and different kind of porn – new wave, smart porn. It’s sometimes been called feminist porn, or ethical porn, or porn for women. The main thing is, this isn’t the usual stuff you see on the awful tube sites. Bright Desire’s aim is to move beyond the old cliches, boundaries and negativity of standard, old-style pornography and to offer something fresh, inclusive and intelligent.

3. Sssh.com

8.Lucy Blush

With 6 years of exploring sex and porn behind me, I am running CommonSensual.com, my own sex lab where we dig deep into our most inner triggers… Films, experiments, music videos, soundtracks and more. It’s my porno baby, check out all updates below!

9. OMGyes

There’s so much that’s been left unsaid, unasked, and unknown. All because of a taboo that, we believe, will look absurd in a few decades—the same way taboos from the 1950’s about oral sex and homosexuality are absurd to us now. We want to accelerate that transition.

OMGyes is an entirely new way to explore fascinating, useful and fun information that’s been uncovered in new research. Let’s lift the veil and take an honest look at the specific ways women actually find pleasure.

10. The Crash Pad series

CrashPadSeries is based on the 2005 feminist porn award-winning ‘best dyke sex film’ The Crash Pad about a clandestine San Francisco apartment where lucky queers share its key to rendezvous for wild sex. Adult filmmaker Shine Louise Houston brings to the web her unique cinematic direction, hailed for its honest depiction of female and queer sexuality. It can be hard to describe this site, since what you’ll see here may vary. Our queer porn casts ‘real life’ couples who identify as dykes and lesbians, femme, masculine of center (boi, stud, tomboy, AG, and butch) and can be cis or trans women, trans men, people of color, people of size, older queers, and people with disabilities (including neurodivergent). Performers choose what they want to do on camera, so it’s common to see things like safer sex, role-play with onscreen check-ins and communication, strap-ons, kink and BDSM, orgasms and aftercare

11. Spit

Spit is a Toronto-based queer porn collaborative. Our aim is to create porn that is reflective of the vast differences in lived experiences, person to person. We seek to celebrate these differences and create space for the variety in sexuality to shine. Our content is developed ethically, meaning our performers are paid for their work and we do our best to put their needs first.

Everyone we work beside is hired on the basis of our values aligning; folks that are dedicated to creating consensual, equitable, and intersectional feminist spaces in the sex industry. We emphasize communication and consent to actively create a safer space.

12. MakeLoveNotPorn

Today MakeLoveNotPorn is the world’s first user-generated, human-curated social sex platform – the Facebook of #RealWorldSex: sharing that one area of all our lives no other social platform will allow. Which means our social sex videos aren’t just something you watch and enjoy – they’re inspirational self help for your sex life.

13. ForPlay Films

ForPlay Films is an independent, all-woman production company on a mission to create erotic short films through a feminist gaze.

Our films are designed to turn women (inclusive of cis, trans, genderqueer) on at every level by bringing their pleasure and fantasies front and center.

ForPlayFilm
14. Abby Winters

Features more “conventional” looking women without much variation in race or body type. This site is popular in the mainstream, but does feature a more “natural” feel – pubic hair, no fake breasts, minimal make up, no special outfits. They offer three types of videos: girls masturbating solo, girls masturbating together, and girls having sex with
each other.

15. Bleu Productions

Fetish and BDSM films produced by filmmaker Maria Beatty. Very artistic, high quality films that explore a wide range of fetishes. Bondage, spanking, tickling, teasing, foot
worship, strap-on sex, latex, leather and medical play are all featured. These films feature predominately white, cisgender women.

Bleu Production
16. Blue Artichoke Films

Blue Artichoke Films is a small group of film enthusiasts dedicated to making artistic, unusual erotic films that portray sexuality in an emotionally realistic way. Whether
documentary, fiction, or experimental, Blue Artichoke films borrow from traditional film languages and styles to represent sexuality in new ways.

17. Candida Royalle Films (Femme Productions)

Candida Royalle is widely recognized as the first porn producer to make movies specifically for women and couples. Her work is considered “softer” porn that focuses a lot on sensuality and female pleasure, as well as romance. Great for those who
are nervous viewing porn or individuals who want more of a story line. No close up “insertion” shots and no rough sex play. These films feature mostly white, straight couples, though there are some that do include people of color (such as “Caribbean Heat”) in non-tokenizing way.

18. Comstock Films

“Real people, real life, real sex” is how these films are described. They each feature one couple and they are interviewed documentary style. These are usually sweet,
loving videos and show lots of shots of how each couple actually gets it on. Though there are few films produced by Comstock, they feature a nice variety of relationships and
ages!

Comstock Films
19. Good Dyke Porn

Created by feminist pornographer BrenRyder, GoodDykePorn features real amateur, lesbian, bisexual, trans, and queer sex. Once the cameras start rolling, the
performers are in complete control of what they want to happen, which creates films that showcase the authentic sexualities of real dykes who identify as lesbian, queer, bisexual, transgender, butch, femme, in-between and/or other.

Good Dyke Porn
20. Lust Films

Unsatisfied with the way she was seeing women portrayed in porn, Erika Lust set out to make films that spoke to her own values, lifestyles and sexuality. She makes beautiful,
artsy films that use porn as a tool for education, excitement and pleasure. Her films place importance on every detail from the clothes and underwear to fantasies, situations and scenarios. Most of her films feature white, cisgender folks in a variety of
pairings. Many films are available to watch online with a membership to LUST Cinema. If you want to get a quick taste of some of her work, you can watch the short “Handcuffs” forf reeon Vimeo.

21. Indie Porn Revolution (previously known as NoFauxxx)

NoFauxxx is part of Courtney Trouble’s Indie Porn Revolution. Founded in 2002, NoFauxxx set out to create and showcase porn that was ethical, authentic, diverse and
hot. It continues to be a space to explore sex beyond gender binaries where casting is all-inclusive. This was the first porn site of its kind and lead to the creation of the “queer porn” genre. As Courtney herself describes it, they bring us “the best in indie porn, alt porn, and queer porn made by ladies, artists, queers, porn stars, trans folks, feminists, real couples, sexy men, smart women, kink experts, and more.”

NoFauxxx
22. Pink & White Productions

Production company of Shine Louise Houston. According to their site, “Pink & White Productions creates adult entertainment that exposes the complexities of queer sexual desire. Taking inspiration from many different sources, Pink & White is dedicated to producing sexy and exciting images that reflect today’s blurred gender lines and fluid sexualities.” They are best known for creating the CrashPadseries which features queer porn of all stripes. The performers have sex the way they want to and each week the site is updated with a new episode. The Crash Pad Series includes “real sex, real orgasms, real sweat, real bodily fluids, real laughter” and is “so utterly natural that the fact it’s being filmed seems nearly incidental.

Pink & White Productions
23. Sweetheart Video

More mainstream, all girl on girl action. They only cast women who identify as lesbian or bisexual women in their day-to-day life (vs. “gay for pay” models). Many of their
videos involve fantasy scenarios/locations, such as sex with the babysitter, hooking up with a hitchhiker, naughty sex in the office, and games of truth or dare. While the
majority of their models are white women, there is definitely some diversity within the folks they cast in terms of race, age, and body type. If you peruse their models page, you’ll see some heavy-hitters in the sex-positive/queer porn arena, such as Nina Hartley, Dylan Ryan, Syd Blakovich, April Flores, Drew Deveaux, and Madison Young.
