12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Indulge in an afternoon of socializing, laughter, and dancing in a welcoming environment.

Sex-positive comedy embraces humor that explores themes related to human sexuality in a positive and inclusive manner. It encourages open conversations about sex, relationships, and intimacy while promoting respect, consent, and diversity. The goal of the show is to entertain the audience while fostering a welcoming environment where individuals can laugh, learn, and feel empowered about their own sexuality.

The second half of our event: our Tea Dance celebrates diversity and inclusivity, providing a safe space for everyone to express themselves freely. Whether you’re an experienced dancer or just looking to have a good time, come join us for an afternoon of fun, laughter, and positive vibes!

Guidelines for Comedians:

  1. Embrace Sex Positivity: The show must promote a healthy and open-minded attitude towards sexuality. Comedians are advised to approach the topic of sex with respect, inclusivity, and positivity.
  2. No Hate Speech: Jokes or comments that perpetuate sexism, racism, or discrimination of any kind are strictly prohibited. The show values diversity and inclusivity.
  3. Respect Boundaries: While the show is about sex positivity, it’s important for comedians to respect the boundaries of the audience. They must avoid explicit content that may make individuals uncomfortable.
  4. Consent is Key: Comedy must never make light of issues related to consent or sexual assault. Any jokes on these topics should be handled with sensitivity and awareness.
  5. Celebrate Diversity: Comedians are advised to celebrate diverse perspectives on sexuality and gender identity. The show must be a safe space for all individuals regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

About Us

Shai and I have teamed up with a shared vision of fostering open and positive conversations about sexuality.

Shaiful Risan is a prominent advocate of the DIY ethic and one of the very few stand up comics in Singapore who come from punkrock.

Noted for his commitment to ground-up inclusivity through Interdependence he has a storied history of speaking out against discrimination without harbouring a victim mindset.

Anti racist, anti sexist and anti homophobia while also not rejecting gentlemanly masculinity, this is one maverick project worthy of notice.

Meanwhile, Dr. Martha Tara Lee, as a relationship counselor and clinical sexologist with 15 years of experience, advocates for understanding and acceptance of diverse sexualorientations and gender identities.

Our collaboration is fueled by a common goal of breaking down barriers and creating a safe space to discuss sexualityin all its facets.

By combining Shaiful’s dedication to promoting peace, humanity and Interdependence alongside my expertise in relationships and sexuality, we aim to establish a platform that encourages respectful dialogue, champions consent, and embraces diversity through dialogue and deliberating social standards without jumping on the cancel culture bandwagon.

Together, we are dedicated to challenging societal norms, empowering individuals to embrace their sexuality, and working towards a more inclusive and sex-positive world for all.
