A women-only online support group

Sexual assault doesn’t just happen to the body.
It shapes how safe you feel in yourself, how you relate to others, and how your nervous system responds long after the event is over.

Many women minimise what happened because it “wasn’t that bad,” happened a long time ago, or didn’t look like what they were taught assault should look like.
But the impact of sexual assault is not determined by the intensity of the act — it’s determined by how your body and nervous system experienced it.

Coming Home is a small, women-only support group for those who want to gently rebuild safety, self-trust, and connection — without pressure to disclose details, rush healing, or perform recovery.

This is not about revisiting trauma for its own sake.
It’s about understanding what shaped you — and learning how to live more safely inside yourself again.

Facilitated by Dr. Martha Tara Lee, Relationship Counselor & Clinical Sexologist, Coming Home offers a structured, compassionate space that is educational, reflective, and paced — not overwhelming.

Who this is for

  • Women who have experienced sexual assault, coercion, or violation (at any age or stage of life)

  • Women who feel disconnected from their body, desire, or sense of safety

  • Women who struggle with trust, boundaries, intimacy, or emotional regulation

  • Women who want support that is trauma-aware, thoughtful, and contained

This group is women-only by design to support safety, honesty, and depth of work.

A note on how common this is

Sexual assault is far more common than most people realise.
Global research consistently shows that around 1 in 3 women experience sexual violence in their lifetime.
You are not broken, dramatic, or alone — and you do not need to feel shame for how your body responded.

What this is — and isn’t

This is:

  • A therapist-facilitated support group

  • Skills-based, educational, and reflective

  • Grounded in nervous system regulation, attachment, and consent

  • Focused on rebuilding safety, agency, and self-trust

This is not:

  • A substitute for 1:1 therapy

  • A crisis intervention group

  • A place where you must share details of your assault

  • A “push through your trauma” programme

  • Sundays, 2:00 – 5:00 pm (Singapore time)

  • 8 consecutive Sundays: 7 June – 26 July 2026

Frequently asked questions

Q1: Is this therapy?
No. This is a therapist-facilitated support group with education, reflection, and optional sharing. It is not a replacement for individual therapy.

Q2: Is there a recording or replay?
No. To protect safety and confidentiality, sessions are not recorded and replays are not available. You will still receive all worksheets and PDFs.
