Children and teenagers today are encountering sexual content online earlier, more frequently, and more accidentally than many parents realise — often before they have the language, context, or emotional maturity to understand what they are seeing.

In her counselling practice, Dr. Martha Tara Lee regularly hears from parents who feel shocked, unsure, or unprepared when porn enters the picture: exposure through pop-ups, group chats, gaming platforms, social media feeds, peers — and increasingly through algorithm-driven spaces linked to the manosphere, where porn, misogyny, and distorted ideas about sex and power often intersect.

This live virtual talk helps parents respond with calm, clarity, and confidence. Drawing on 17 years of clinical experience, the session offers practical, age-appropriate guidance on how to talk about porn exposure in ways that reduce shame, build critical thinking, and keep communication open — so children grow up with healthier expectations around bodies, consent, intimacy, and relationships in a porn-saturated digital world.

The session is designed to feel safe, flexible, and low-pressure. Participants may keep their video on or off, ask questions live or via chat, or simply listen in. A replay recording will be available for those who prefer to watch later or revisit the content.
