Vaginismus is a sexual condition that makes penetration difficult or impossible for people with vaginas. This is a psychological condition usually linked to fear of pain during penetration. It Is believed one in 20 people have this condition.
This in-depth practitioner training provides you with the skill and information you need to support your clients in moving beyond this condition, so they can reclaim a sense of safety in their bodies and be able to enjoy pain-free sex.
The training is the accumulation of knowledge, expertise, personal and professional experience of Relationship Counselor and Clinical Sexologist Dr Martha Tara Lee, who has specialised in supporting clients with Vaginismus over the last 14 years. It combines sex education, sex therapy, and somatic approaches, as well as her signature Formulae so that you too can support clients to overcome Vaginismus.
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of the training, you will be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the online Sex Program “Sex Possible”
- Demonstrate competency in sex counseling skills
- Answer commonly asked questions from clients with Vaginismus
- Demonstrate competency teaching and applying Dr Lee’s formulae to overcoming Vaginismus
- Formulate a client treatment plan
Course Requirements:
To attain the certificate, you are required to
- Attend 8 weekly virtual training and triad practices
- Weekly classes being 3 hours per week; Triad sessions (groups of three) will be an additional 1.5 hours per week; and self study being another 0.5 hours per week.
- Pass a verbal and a written exam
- Demonstrate competency in three recorded sessions with volunteer clients (We will support you in finding these clients)
Pre-requisites:
This training is for people with existing training and qualifications in working with sex, including Certified Sexological Bodyworkers, sex educators, sex counsellors, sex therapists or related helping professionals.

- You will submit 3 volunteer client recordings (People with Vaginismus)

Access to Dr Martha Lee’s online training program on overcoming Vaginismus http://www.eroscoaching.com/sex-possible/ is included. It contains 28 videos released over 28 days.

Refund Policy
There is a non-refundable administration fee of $300 Australian dollars, which secures your place in the training.
If you decide you cannot participate in the training before October 10, you will be refunded your money minus the non- refundable deposit of $300. There is no refund if you withdraw after the training commences on October 10, 2023.
Appendix
Eros Coaching is an AASECT CE Provider (Organizational Provider). Eros Coaching will be able to issue 1 CE point for each hour of training.

An AASECT CE Provider is an individual or organization, approved by AASECT and committed to providing education that meets AASECT standards for helping individuals earn or maintain AASECT Certification.
Types of AASECT CE Providers
- Individual Provider – An Individual Provider must be an AASECT Certified Member and must present at least 80% of the training of each event. (Note: if presenting training with a partner who is presenting more than 20% of the total material the Provider must apply to be an Organizational Provider.)
Organizational Provider I – An individual, group of individuals, private training center, school, accredited university/college, or other organization. Organizational Providers must have an AASECT Certified Member overseeing the planning of all training. The Organizational Provider I offers 40 or fewer AASECT CE credits per year and uses more than one expert to deliver the training.
Organizational Provider II – An individual, group of individuals, private training center, school, accredited university/college, or other organization. Organizational Providers must have an AASECT Certified Member overseeing the planning of all training. The Organizational Provider II offers more than 40 AASECT CE credits per year and uses more than one expert to deliver the training.
When calculating CE credits, please use the following information:
- 60 minutes = 1 CE credit; 90 minutes = 1.5 CE credits.
- Each credit hour must have one learning objective
- Increments of, 15 or 45 minutes are not permitted for 0.25 or 0.75 credits. For example, a segment scheduled for 1 hour 15 minutes will count as 1 credit; a segment scheduled for 1 hour 45 minutes will count as 1.5 credits.
Location
You can access the training from anywhere in the world. The weekly classes from October are scheduled at 2pm Singapore time, which is:
4pm Queensland / 5pm NSW and VIC / 7pm New Zealand / 8pm Hawaii / 7am UK / 8am Europe
If you are in the Americas you are welcome to take the training, but the classes will be at night for you. You are welcome to join if you can make that work.

Dr. Martha Tara Lee has been a passionate advocate for positive sexuality since 2007. With a Doctorate in Human Sexuality and a Masters in Counseling, she launched Eros Coaching in 2009 to help individuals and couples lead self-actualised and pleasurable lives. Her expertise includes working with couples who have unconsummated marriage, individuals with sexual inhibitions and discrepancies in sexual desire, men with erection and ejaculation concerns, and members of the LGBTQIA+ and kink communities. Dr. Lee welcomes all sexual orientations and is available for online and face-to-face consultations. Martha speaks English and Mandarin.
She is the only certified sexuality educator by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) in the region (as of 2011) and is also an AASECT certified sexuality educator supervisor (as of 2018). She strives to provide fun, educational, and sex-positive events and is often cited in the media including Huffington Post, Newsweek, South China Morning Post, and more.
