Eros Coaching decided to feature Shamala Tan from Modern Medicine Woman this month.

1. What do you do?

My clients call me the chiropractor for the soul because it is what I do best. I align my clients with their body, mind and soul. The end game – to live more purposeful lives.

I also enjoy helping small business owners because they usually are passionate about what they do, but often lose sight of why they do what they do, as they are too caught up in running the business end of things. I help them to re-ignite the fire, get clarity on the direction they want to take in living a more purposeful life through their business.

2. Why do you do what you do?

I am an ever seeker, and I know through experience that everyone is always seeking to improve and wanting more in life. The unfortunate thing is, most people seek out things that do not serve them to be their highest potential. The stuff they seek often become distractions. I have experienced this in my own life for almost a whole decade and realised how much time I have lost and how much more I could have done if I had the help needed.
3.  How do you find the time for all that?
Despite being a spiritual person, whom many will see as being a free-flowing person, I am very much a systems person when it comes to making the most of my time on earth. What this means is that I work with schedules and organisational apps to get my work life moving in productive ways. I enjoy this process as it makes me feel that I am not wasting my time, and it is a constant reminder of how to prioritise my time efficiently.
4. What does the future hold for you?
I believe in the unlimited potential within me. I enjoy what I do, and I am also very excited and enthusiastic about new projects that I undertake. I am even venturing beyond my given scope of expertise and getting myself involved in other business adventures and avenues just for the challenge! My passion in coaching work will continue to thrive, and I am always looking for new ways to improve what I do.
5.  What advice would you give for us?
Even if you do not know the direction in life to take yet, always know that every step you take, every mistake you make will make you smarter and wiser to the choices available to you. Not doing anything for fear of making a mistake is almost a guarantee that you will commit a bigger error in life.
