Your Energy Speaks before You Do

Your Energy Speaks before You DoI’m recalling a time when I used to attend a professional group gathering monthly. We were having pre-event food and were actually having a good chat when a new person joined us.

He immediately asked, “How are things?” It wasn’t what he said. It was how he said it. None of us wanted to be affected by his negative vibes and ignored him.

And of course he tried again, “How’s business?” then unsurprisingly “Things are very bad… Business is very bad.” One member of the group finally replied to the contrary about how good things are for him, then another but none of us including myself were willing to go out of our way to pull him out of his mood.

I’m not sure whether this person realised how he was coming across, but it made me ask myself whether I was taking responsibility for the way I was coming across. Energy is something people can feel before we open our mouth.

What we focus on expands. Positive people gravitate towards positive people. Negative people repel. Our energy is our own greatest resource and we need to take responsibility for being as high a vibration as possible moment by moment.

Focus on letting go of the past and being more integrated within. Get relationship counseling support here.
