Welcome to Funwise, a sex-positive sharing circle for adults. Our goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space for people who are dating or hooking up to share their experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another. Led by Relationship Counselor and Clinical Sexologist Dr Martha Tara Lee, we’ll cover a range of topics including consent, communication, pleasure, and sexual health. Our focus is on harm-reduction and sex positivity, meaning we prioritize safe and consensual sexual experiences while celebrating sexuality in all its forms.
We welcome people of all sexual orientations and gender identities to join us for an evening of open and honest conversation about sex, relationships, and everything in between. This sharing circle is designed to be a supportive environment where all sharing and emotions are welcomed. Whether you’re looking to learn something new or simply connect with others who share your interests, we invite you to join us for an unforgettable experience.
Group Rules:
- Confidentiality: What is shared in the group stays in the group. We ask that participants do not share any personal information or stories outside of the sharing circle.
- Respect: We encourage all participants to respect each other’s opinions, experiences, and boundaries. We do not tolerate any form of hate speech, discrimination, or harassment.
- Active Listening: We ask that participants actively listen to each other without interrupting or judging. This means giving each person the time and space to share their thoughts and feelings without interruption.
- Consent: We prioritize consent in all aspects of our sharing circle. This means asking for consent before touching or hugging someone, and respecting someone’s decision if they decline.
- No Pressure: We do not pressure anyone to share anything they are not comfortable with. Participants are free to share as much or as little as they feel comfortable with.

About Dr. Martha Tara Lee
Surrounded by friends who were sexually inhibited and struck by dire lack of positive conversations around sex and sexuality in Singapore, Dr. Martha Tara Lee set out to make a positive difference in embarking on her doctorate in human sexuality before launching Eros Coaching in 2009. Today, she remains dedicated to working with individuals and couples who wish to lead self-actualised and pleasure-filled lives.
She also holds certificates in counselling, coaching and sex therapy, and her fourth degree – a Masters in Counselling in May 2018. She is the only certified sexuality educator and certified sexuality educator supervisor by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) in Singapore. Often cited in the media, Dr. Lee is the appointed Resident Sexologist for Singapore Cancer Society, and Ofnoah.sg and Ofzoey.com. She was recognised as one of ‘Top 50 Inspiring Women Under 40′ by Her World in July 2010, and one of ‘Top 100 Inspiring Women’ by CozyCot in March 2011. She has published four books: Love, Sex and Everything In-Between, Orgasmic Yoga, From Princess to Queen and {Un}Inhibited.
Martha works with individuals and couples in private coaching sessions, and conducts her own workshops. She takes prides in making sure all her workshops are also fun, educational, and sex-positive. This comes easily to her because even though she is extremely dedicated and serious about her work, she fundamentally believes that sex is meant to be fun, wonderful, amazing and sacred.
