Week 6 of 52 – Are You Comfortable with Your Body?

Welcome to Love, Sex, and Everything In-Between! My name is Martha. I am a sexologist and I am playing Queen of the Jungle. So, what’s the message for you this week?

Are you comfortable with your body? We have Valentine’s Day happening in four days’ time. And today, instead of talking about love and romance, I want you to be talking about your love for your body. Are you comfortable with your body? Do you have a great relationship with your body?

I have a practice of exercising every day for thirty minutes, not because I have too, but because that’s my way of coming back to my body. And while I am doing my exercise, every day, I do some affirmations where I actually say this to myself, “I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you Martha. I love my body.”

And so, today’s challenge is to do a mirror exercise. Stand in front of a mirror, from the top of your head to the bottom of your toes, I want you to be able to go through every single body part that you have and talk about what you like or don’t like about each and every part of your body. So from there, you can begin to see and notice which parts you like, which parts you don’t and why. Start to have a connection and a relationship with your body, especially with loving your body.
