24 December 2026–3 January 2027
10 nights | Private villa in Johor Bahru, Malaysia
Hosted and facilitated by Dr Martha Tara Lee
HTHT is a curated year-end community retreat in JB: free-and-easy days, with a shared two-hour guided evening programme.
It is for introspective people who want to step back from everyday routines, reconnect with themselves, and begin 2027 with more clarity and intention. There will be room for rest, laughter, reflection, learning and meaningful time with a genuine, good-natured group.
The retreat is limited to 10 participants. Singles, couples and friends are welcome.
What HTHT is about
HTHT takes a whole-person approach. It is an opportunity to take stock of 2026, notice what is working in your life, consider what needs attention, and decide what you want to make room for in 2027.
Through guided conversations and practical activities, we will look at relationships, emotional wellbeing, health, work, rest, fun, purpose and growth. The Wheel of Life will be one of the tools we use along the way.
Dr Martha will stay on-site throughout as host and facilitator, guiding the group process and offering emotional support.
Your days and evenings
Mornings and afternoons are free-and-easy. You may sleep in, swim, explore JB, get a massage, work, read, go out for lunch, spend time alone or make plans with others.
Selected mornings will include optional guided practices, including meditation, laughter yoga, water-based activities and an emotional-release session.
The group comes together each evening.
| Time | Programme |
|---|---|
| Morning | Optional activity or free time |
| Daytime | Free-and-easy |
| 7 p.m. | Group dinner |
| 8–10 p.m. | HTHT circle and facilitated activity |
| From 10 p.m. | Karaoke, mahjong, swimming, games, movie, conversation or downtime |
The evening programme is the shared heart of HTHT. It will include year-end review, journalling, communication, connection, rest, play and setting intentions for 2027. The rest of the evening remains open for you to enjoy the villa and one another’s company.
The villa
HTHT will take place in a private six-bedroom villa in Johor Bahru. The villa has 3.5 bathrooms, three living areas, a private swimming pool, a karaoke/theatre room, mahjong, BBQ facilities, a full kitchen and generous shared dining space.
There will be space to come together for meals, karaoke, mahjong, swimming, games and conversation, as well as quieter corners to read, rest or spend time alone.
