About Dr Martha Tara Lee, Relationship Counselor & Clinical Sexologist

Dr. Martha Tara Lee is a highly respected and sought-after expert in the field of positive sexuality. With a Doctorate in Human Sexuality and a Masters in Counseling, she founded Eros Coaching in 2009 to empower individuals and couples to lead self-actualized and pleasurable lives. Dr. Lee’s extensive experience includes working with couples facing unconsummated marriages, individuals with sexual inhibitions, discrepancies in sexual desire, as well as men with erection and ejaculation concerns. She is also an ally for members of the LGBTQIA+ and kink communities.

As the only certified sexuality educator by the  American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) in the region (since 2011), Dr. Lee is a pioneer in her field. In addition, she is an AASECT certified sexuality educator supervisor (sicne 2018), further demonstrating her commitment to excellence and ongoing professional development. Dr. Lee welcomes individuals of all sexual orientations and offers both online and face-to-face consultations in English and Mandarin.

Dr. Lee’s expertise has garnered attention from the media, with frequent appearances in publications such as  Huffington PostNewsweek, South China Morning Post, and more. She is known for her engaging and informative events that promote fun and sex-positive education. In recognition of her contributions to the field, Dr. Lee has been appointed as the Resident Sexologist for prestigious organizations such as Singapore Cancer Society, Of Noah.sgOfZoey.sg, and Virtus Fertility Centre. She is the host of radio show Eros Evolution for OMTimes Radio.

In addition to her professional accolades, Dr. Lee is a published author with several books to her name. Her works include Love, Sex and Everything In-Between (2013),  Orgasmic Yoga: Masturbation, Meditation and Everything In-Between (2015), From Princess to Queen: Heartbreaks, Heartgasms and Everything In-Between (2017), and {Un}Inhihibited (2019). These books serve as valuable resources for individuals seeking personal growth and sexual empowerment.

About Krish Phua, Intimacy and Sexual Wellness Therapist

Krish Phua is a registered Counsellor, Psychotherapist, and certified Clinical Supervisor specializing in Gender and Sexuality, HIV and AIDS, and Couple and Family Therapy.

Phua has been serving in various settings such as counselling centers, recovery centers, clinics, therapy centers, hospitals, prisons, halfway houses, special schools, and educational institutions since 2013.

He takes on the role of a professional therapist for clients in individual, couple, family, and group settings. Phua has also facilitated mental health talks and workshops for different profiles of clients and communities.

In addition to his therapy work, Phua provides crisis management, case conceptualization and management, intervention and treatment formulation, care coordination, and psychosocial support to marginalized community members in need.

For the past 12 years, Phua held a key position at a major Singapore-based autism-focused charitable organization where he worked with clients and their families across the lifespan. Prior to this, he held senior management positions in the private sector for over 15 years.

Currently pursuing a PhD in Counselling Psychology, Phua is also an appointed Adjunct Faculty (Lecturer) for counseling and psychology subjects in private educational institutions for adult learners. He regularly publishes his experiences and insights in professional therapy through blog articles.

About Sharinder Kaur, Counselor

Sharinder Kaur holds a Master’s in Counselling from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. She is a registered clinical member of the Singapore Association of Counselling, and an associate member of Transactional Analysis Singapore. She has attained practitioner certifications for Transactional Analysis (TAP) from USATAA, Brainspotting from Brainspotting AustralAsia Pacific, Choice Theory and Reality Therapy from the William Glasser Institute. Additionally, she is an accredited facilitator for the Prepare & Enrich marriage preparation and enrichment programme, as well as The Good Enough Parenting professional training. Kaur has also completed her Professional Certificate in Sexuality Education with Dr. Martha Tara Lee.

Before officially joining the counselling field, Kaur provided social-emotional and behavioural support to students as an educator for over 12 years. Her expertise spans across various age groups, including teens, adults, and parents. She works with clients on emotional regulation, personal development, stress management, motivation, grief and loss, trauma, conflict resolution, anxiety, sexual concerns, relationship and communication skills. Kaur also supports parents in healing and improving their relationship with their child. She provides trauma-informed care and is currently working towards her certification in Compassionate Inquiry.

Kaur’s therapeutic approach incorporates mind-body-based skills using a range of modalities such as person-centered therapy, Transactional Analysis, CTRT, Brainspotting, and breathwork. She is also LGBTQ+ affirmative and believes in supporting all individuals regardless of their sexual orientation and history to live their best life through self-acceptance and self-empowerment. Her goal is to help clients shift from a survival mindset to a thriving mindset by navigating the journey of life with confidence, resilience, and a growth mindset. Kaur creates a safe, non-judgmental, and nurturing environment for her clients to receive the necessary support for their wellbeing.

As a new mom, Kaur has pivoted her practice and provides counselling support virtually to better balance the demands of motherhood while still pursuing her passion for providing empathic support to her clients. She is available for appointments from Mondays to Wednesdays between 11 am and 6 pm (SGT). If you require a different time slot, please feel free to message her, and she will do her best to accommodate your needs.

About Shaza Teo, Sexual Health Educator and Counselor

Shaza Teo is a highly skilled and compassionate counselor with a passion for promoting sexual health and well-being. She holds a Masters in Counseling from the University of Queensland, Australia, and has dedicated her career to creating a safe and inclusive space for individuals to explore and understand their sexual health.

With a diverse range of experiences, Teo has worked as a lecturer, supporting polytechnic students in their personal and academic journeys. She has also worked with elite sporting athletes, helping them navigate social and emotional challenges to achieve peak performance. Additionally, Teo has trained peer student supporters to advocate for mental wellness and has provided support to sexual offenders as they work through their personal struggles.

As a certified sexual health educator and counselor, Teo is committed to providing evidence-based information and promoting consent. She believes in fostering a non-judgmental environment where individuals can freely express themselves and make informed decisions that align with their values and overall well-being. Open communication, confidentiality, and empowerment are at the core of her practice.

Teo’s ultimate goal is to build a generation of young people who celebrate diversity and are emotionally and mentally strong. She believes in addressing taboo issues in a safe and respectful manner, helping individuals overcome their shyness and explore important topics related to sexual health. With her expertise, empathy, and dedication, Teo is ready to support individuals on their journey towards better sexual experiences and a more fulfilling life.
